I loved dollhouses as a kid. I really wish I’d gotten into those really fancy ones you build and create yourself.

SUCH a ridiculous commercial, but SUCH an awesome toy!

I totally had the Koala that flashes near the end of the video. LOVED it so much.

Did you ever have a Giga-Pet?

Ok, how many kids can say they’ve never played with Legos? Not many, that’s for sure. My brother and I LOVED Legos. We’d combine sets like this castle one with pirates or city sets just for the heck of it. We’d make up stories for our characters, places they’d go, people they’d meet, and have entire worlds just for our lego people.
We had an ocean set that we’d combine with a city set (policemen, construction, etc.) to create a vacation resort or a crime scene, and we could play for hours.
I’m going to do a couple of Lego posts if I can find the exact sets we had. I’m excited because when I go to LA in August, I really want to stop at Legoland. It’s super expensive, so I dunno if it’ll happen, but I’d love to be able to go there.
And here’s some more Legos pics, just for the heck of it. :)

So, if you ever played with Legos, which were your favorite sets or pieces?

"Jumpin’ up and down like a kangaroo!"

Moon Shoes!

I never had moon shoes, but I remember jumping up and down when I would see the commercials for them. I’d always beg for them, even though looking back, I don’t think I’d ever play with them. (Thanks, mom!)

I remember an episode of Barney, I think, where they sort of made shoes with shoeboxes and rubber bands… But how did it hold all of their weight! I know I wouldn’t have been able to do it.

Did you have Moon Shoes?

I don’t wanna grow up!
